Thank you to all donated to Wreaths Across America! Thanks to you, the wreath quota for Chatham Memorial Cemetery was met!
As promised, in return for wreath sponsorships, members from BSA Troop 1310 (all girls troop) and Troop 310 (all boys troop) hiked 11 miles on the Interurban Trail on November 10, 2024. (They also stopped along the way to log a few geocaches.) A check was presented to Chatham/Auburn VFW Auxiliary 4763 at the Veterans’ Day ceremony in Chatham the following day.
On December 8, BSA Troop 1310 scouts placed wreath placeholders (flags) on veterans’ graves in Chatham Memorial Cemetery. Once the wreaths arrived, the scouts helped swap the flags for wreaths on December 14. A scout is reverent.
